The Forecasting and Analyzing Digital Entertainment (FADE) has reported that the Xbox Live Arcade grew by 41% in March when compared to March 2009. FADE believes that the Xbox Live Arcade has grown 5% overall in 2010, thanks to weaker than expected showings in January and February.
Gaming revenue in March 2010 topped $10 million for the first time, hitting an estimated $10.6 million. March 2009’s estimated sales were $7.5 million, and February 2010’s were $6.8 million. It is thought that the Xbox Live ‘Block Party’ promotion was a contributor to the increased sales.
