Rare’s website has updated today to show a mysterious countdown. The countdown currently reads “6 days”, and directly under that is some text stating that “rare.co.uk will be returning soon”. There’s a place for people to sign up for email updates, a lone avatar and the phrase “one in a million”. We’re not sure what it all means and whether the greyed out background text of the email box (banjo@rare.co.uk) is one of the company’s infamous red herrings or not, but we won’t have that long to find out. We’ll be live-blogging the main Microsoft conference next week and will follow up with the main news from it straight after.
