Microsoft has announced that it will be rewarding day 1 customers of the Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package map pack. The company wants to make up for the complications that arose during the release period, so all early adopters of the map pack will be given a free week of Xbox Live Gold Membership. Microsoft will be confirming if you qualify for the free week with an Xbox Live message that reads:

β€œTo thank you for your loyalty to Xbox LIVE and for buying the Modern Warfare Stimulus Package on day 1, we will extend your Gold membership for 7 more days of adrenaline-pumping action on Xbox Live. Your account will be updated by May 1.”
