Peter Molyneux (mad Microsoft talking head, king of Lionhead Studios and Microsoft Games Studios’ European creative director) has been talking to GamesIndustry.biz. He stated that Microsoft wants Fable 3 to sell more than 5 million copies and reach profits in excess of $150 million. Molyneux also confirmed that Fable 3 will also be distributed in an episodic format after the game’s proper launch. The first chapter will be free; with the following episodes costing a pretty penny (actual pricing is yet to be confirmed. We said “pretty penny” because it’s a phrase we haven’t heard in a while and quite frankly, we missed it).
