Microsoft has changed the Xbox Live Points buying options in the US, allowing users to buy points in increments of 400, 800 and 1200. These point increments match common prices for Xbox Live Arcade titles and DLC, without the usual left over block of points. This change in points system has not been implemented anywhere else at the moment and it’s currently unknown whether it will be. Microsoft had previously implemented a gifting system, allowing people to gift Xbox Live points and content to friends and family. However, that has so far remained exclusive to the US.
