Capcom has confirmed that they will be releasing a multiplayer demo for Lost Planet 2 on Xbox Live on April 21^st, and PlayStation Network on April 22^nd. The demo takes place on the Turbulent Jungle map, and allows up to 16 players to fight online. Players will also be able to track their stats. Capcom will be giving some fans early access to the demo from March 31^st in the form of “community-distributed voucher codes”. The demo unlocks the Machine Gun SP in the full version. The full game has also had its release date moved a week forward to May 11^th, with the PC version coming this autumn.
