Tomorrow night would have been the night that Gears of War designer Cliff Bleszinski was to appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to debut Epic’s new game. There’s been a bit of a change of plans…
Bleszinski will now appear on the late night talk show on Monday, April 12, still to reveal a game. Late Night with Jummy Fallon producers blamed the bump on a scheduling conflict with (eww…) pop star Justin (*cringe*) Bie… Bieber.
This news could lead one to conclude that Justin Bieber (there we go again with the name…) is responsible for the delay in giving us a peek at the new thingy that Epic Games is working on (so get your torches and pitchforks), rumored to be Gears of War 3.
Turns out, the above isn’t true. Bleszinski said (via Twitter) that the “11th hour decision” to move to Monday is not due to Bieber (ugh… put the tools back in the shed guys). Cliff says “the truth of the matter is that we wanted to take a couple more days to polish what we’re showing.”
