Those living over the seas in Europe can expect to receive the upcoming downloadable  prologue Dead Space Ignition for free with a pre-order of Dead Space 2. Dead Space Ignition reveals the events prior to the plot of Dead Space 2. It also rewards players with an exclusive Hacker suit that can be used by Sir Isaac Clark.

Outside of this release, players in general will be able to get their hands on the game October 13th on Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network for 400 MS Points or £4.99 on PSN. As a reminder Dead Space 2 will be released Jan 28th, 2011 for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Dead Space Ignition combines an interactive comic-style story with three unique hacking games; Hardware Crack, Trace Route and System Override. Each game offers a fun arcade experience that will challenge players with puzzles and twitch gameplay. Dead Space Ignition features a unique “Choose Your Own Adventure” type narrative, allowing players to survive the initial Necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl in multiple ways, with four different endings.
