Epic Games have released a new title update for Gears of War 2. This is the sixth update for the game, and adds Social Xbox Live Matches. They are available to players that have downloaded all the DLC map packs for Gears of War 2. Apparently, the All Fronts Collection DLC will be reduced to encourage more people to play it.

Social Matches are joinable mid-game, and gamers are allowed to quit without penalty. If there aren’t any available games for your party, you’ll start a new map with your friends and the game will fill the empty player slots with bots.

The update also adds social leaderboards in the War Journal, renames Public Matches to Ranked Xbox Live Matches and Private Matches are now known as Custom Xbox Live Matches. There are other fixes and exploit blocking elements in the update too.
