Microsoft has confirmed that there will be a free Xbox Live weekend next week, from 26th November until the 28th. All silver accounts will be upgraded to Gold, so you can play games and do what everyone else is already doing on Live. Apparently there will be other offers going on at the time too, in the run up to Xmas. There will also be a Call of Duty: Black Ops double XP weekend on the free Live weekend dates too. Seems a bit too convenient to us.
