Top Gear has signed a long-term deal to collaborate to future Forza Motorsport games. The show will be integrated in upcoming Forzas, with co-promotions going on between the two to get petrol heads all hot and bothered.
You’ll be able to see what the partnership will do for the series in the Forza 3 Ultimate Collection, which will be released on 29th October. That collection will include 90 minutes of Top Gear TV to watch, the ability to muck about with the Stig’s Garage Car Pack (The Koenigsegg CCX, LEXUS LFA, and Mercedes Benz SLS-AMG) and an Xbox Live Top Gear theme.
Quite where all this leaves Gran Turismo 5’s Top Gear test-track inclusion remains to be seen, but it currently looks like it’ll still be in GT5. Regardless, the Forza Motorsport 3 Ultimate Collection bundles all of the DLC released for the game so far. It will give you access to 500 cars and 100 track “configurations”.
