Capcom has announced a new charity campaign entitled “Kill Big for Charity”, that ties into the new Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo. Capcom will donate $20,000 for the first one million Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demos downloaded on the 360 and PS3 from March 31st (some folk got early access codes on Capcom Unity) until May 5th. If an extra 500,000 downloads is achieved, Capcom will donate an additional $5,000.
On May 6th, Capcom will be throwing a pre-release party in Los Angeles. Fans can get into the event by signing up on Capcom Unity and submitting their best tips and tricks for beating the multiplayer demo. A celebrity tournament will take place at the party, with the winning team choosing which Music for Relief cause will receive the charity donations. However, the maximum the fund can go up to is $25,000.
