Gearbox has confirmed that the Borderlands level-cap raise and game re-balancing update that was supposed to be part of the new DLC will be released as a free update for all game owners. The new maximum level for Borderlands will be 69. The original campaign will be re-balanced to pose a challenge for those wishing to take advantage of the eight new levels.

The next DLC for Borderlands is called Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution. It will be released on 28th September, costing 800 Allards/£6.29. There will also be a Game of the Year Edition with Borderlands that will contain all of the DLC released so far, but that hasn’t been officially dated yet.
