Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed II has sold nearly nine million units in the financial year ending on 31st March 2010. The publisher also confirmed that a multiplayer beta will be taking place for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood before the game’s autumn release. The company plans to release new versions of games in their more popular franchises at a more frequent rate. They aim to include multiplayer modes in games that never normally had them in the past.
