Microsoft has announced that they will be offering a new Xbox Live Gold Family plan this November. It’ll cost $99.99 and gives a year of Xbox Live Gold membership to four different family members. Doing the maths, it works out to half the normal cost of four separate memberships.

There will also be a Family Center to manage the family account and to stop young folk from playing violent stuff, activity reports on Xbox.com and the ability to allow the account holder to buy and give points to others. There will also be exclusive family content and discounts as well as new family settings for the 360 dashboard itself around the same time.
