Blizzard hit the stage tonight at Sony’s press event to reveal that Diablo 3 will be launching on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 platforms. Announced by Blizzard’s Senior VP of Story and Franchise development Chris Metzen. Square Enix took the stage at Sony’s PlayStation meeting in New York City and announced that a new Final Fantasy game is in development for PlayStation 4. Details of the game were not shown nor was it numerically named either. All we know so far is that we’ll get a first taste of the new game at E3 in June.

Sony is currently holding their press event ‘meeting’ in New York City today revealing a lot of details on the next generation console, PlayStation 4. Sony’s PlayStation Meeting NYC event is due to take place at 6PM EST/3pM PST/11PM GMT today. The event will talk about the PlayStation 4 and introduce us to some of the system’s upcoming launch titles. We’re incredibly excited and can’t wait to see what Sony’s been cooking.
