Sony has released the 3.50 firmware update for the PlayStation 3. The update enables Blu-ray 3D disc playback and adds some other new bits to tinker with. The main one is the introduction of a new “Grief Reporting Function”, which will allow you to tell Sony when another player is doing naughty business. The update also adds the ability for developers to grab public information from Facebook with your permission. They will be able to access usernames, profiles, uploaded photos and your friends list, with them popping up in gameplay.
