Sony has finally announced MotorStorm Apocalypse. It’s a new entry in the MotorStorm series for the PS3, and takes place in an abandoned city after civilization ran off thanks to an earthquake. The city will continue to fall around while you race, so you’ll have that to contend with alongside the traditional irate racers. The game features 13 vehicle classes including supercars, muscle cars, superbikes and choppers as well as 40 unique races. Apparently, looters and military contractors will be fighting during the races. Players will be able to customise your vehicle in-game or download new vehicles, parts and graphics from the PSN. MotorStorm Apocalypse will be released on the PS3 in 2011. Expect to hear more about it at E3 next week.
