Sony has said that if you don’t want to wait for Gran Turismo 5 to install, you can tell the game to install parts of the game while you play. The installation will make loading faster, and apparently it will occur in stages as you unlock new areas and tracks during gameplay.

If you want to do a straight-up install from when you put in the disc, it will eat up 6.4GB of your hard drive space and 40 minutes of your hard-earned time. The game has lots of cars (1031) and tracks though. We just hope the gameplay matches the impressive stat-pumping as Prologue was a complete mess. Regardless, GT5 will be released on 24th November.
