Some PS3 owners are being invited to take part in a fairly secretive Dead Space 2 closed beta. Developer Louis Gascoigne is handing out PSN codes for people that message him their email address on Twitter. Apparently, there will be a few more codes going out today.

Dead Space 2 has been pushed back to a late January 2011 release. However, it’ll be playable at the Eurogamer Expo next week. We’ll be getting some hands on time if there aren’t a load of queues about. We’re not comfortable with real people.
