Ubisoft has announced ManiaPlanet, a user-generated content platform for the PC. The announcement came at the company’s E3 press conference, where Ubisoft made us all work real hard as they announced new stuff everywhere. TrackMania developer Nadeo is involved with ManiaPlanet, but the objective for the platform is to create new stuff. In keeping with this, QuestMania and ShootMania have been announced. QuestMania will be going into beta soon, with ShootMania hitting beta Q1 2011.

TrackMania currently has 10 million players across the world on all of its platforms, according to Ubisoft. TrackMania 2 will be released in Q4 2010. TrackMania is known for its track editor, where players can create their own tracks. QuestMania and ShootMania will have similar elements for RPGs and shooters apparently.
