Hi-Rez Studios has announced that they are dropping the optional subscription fee for Global Agenda. Previously, the sci-fi shooter MMO could be played with just a one-off retail purchase, but players had to pay a subscription fee to get access to all of the game. However players will now be able to access everything. Hi-Rez Studios will now make money from the game by selling optional paid expansion packs. They will be releasing the first one (Sandstorm) for free to give gamers a taster.
