Japanese technology firm Digital Media Professionals has announced that they are providing the graphics chip for the Nintendo 3DS. The chip is called the PICA200, and it’s from 2006. It apparently produces high quality graphics with low power consumption. It should be quite cheap considering its age, and Nintendo will be enjoying that as the company likes to sell hardware for a profit.
