Nintendo released a bit of a game changer, or what they referred to as a “bridge game”, to ‘bridge’ all demographics of gamers into the video gaming world. This title, Wii Party, is one of those Nintendo/Wii-licensed titles like Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Fit, yet it takes on a more casual appeal. It is a lot like a generic Mario Party where the characters are Miis instead of licensed video game characters.
Wii Party consists of 30 activities and 70 mini-games to keep you, your family, and your friends busy for hours on end. Obviously the mini-games and activities will appeal to a wide-range of ages, therefore you could find yourself playing Wii Party more than the youngsters in your family, especially with games such as Board Game Island and Boat Balance.
