EA has announced some new information about FIFA 11. The game will include a system called “Pro Passing”, which will apparently make it harder to constantly pass up to the halfway line. There will also be a new emphasis on players’ individual attributes, which will help to make players feel different across the pitch.
Look out for new body types to help distinguish players at a distance (it’s hard to miss some, just look at Peter Crouch), as well as swerve passes, driven and backspin lofted through balls and improved goalkeepers. Players will also be able to customise their team’s intro music and fan chants.
The game will be out this autumn on all systems known to man. FIFA titles normally come out around October to cash in on the Christmas carnage. Come and have a look at the first screenshots of the game after the break.
