EA Sports have confirmed that the Wii version of FIFA 11 will have a Street mode. Basically, that means it will be five-a-side football with smaller indoor and outdoor pitches surrounded by walls. Players will be able to jump and play passes off the wall, similar to one of the cheats on the Megadrive versions of the game.

There’s also an arcade game type that will allow you to pull off super shots, bursts of speed, shockwaves, shoulder charges and more, thanks to a power bar. The venues for this mode include Brazil, London and France, with you also being able to change and tweak some of the rules and match types. There’s stuff like Tug of War, First to Score, how big the goals are and even where they are on the pitch.

FIFA 11 will be released on all platforms known to man across time and space on 1st October in Europe.
