EA has confirmed that FIFA 11 has sold over 821,000 copies in the title’s opening weekend in the UK. The game made £28.93 million in that time period, and that’s the second best ever day one UK sales. All that money has made FIFA 11 the best-selling game in the UK this week.

It had the biggest launch of any game in the series and the third best week one sales ever in the UK. Modern Warfare 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV are the first and second biggest, for the record. FIFA 11 secured 51% of the UK’s total game sales of last week. We’ll throw up the rest of the charts later.
