SEGA and SI Games have finally announced Football Manager 2011 for the PC and Mac. It will be released sometime before Christmas, alongside a PSP version entitled “Football Manager Handheld 2011”. Real-time contract negations, a revamped training system and an improved match engine have been added to the game. There’s also a new match preparation area for training, which allows managers to tell players about specific things to focus on developing before a match.
Also expect some new basic training schedules to improve 14 different individual skill areas of your players. SI has also added some new boardroom and backroom requests and some player interaction bits & pieces. You will be able to have private conversations with your players and hold public conversations about players at other clubs, which could upset a few folk. There’s also a new media module to play your mind games with like the best of them.
Match engine improvements include over 100 new animations. You will also see some new player emotions, player models, stadiums, pitch textures, improved lighting, floodlit night matches and goal celebrations.
