Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops has made $650m in its first five days on sale worldwide. That’s according to Activision’s internal estimates, which say that Black Ops has managed to make $100m more than Modern Warfare 2 in the same five-day sales period. On launch day, players logged more than 5.9 million hours playing multiplayer between them all. 2.6 million unique gamers were playing at the time. It looks like the game has nearly hit 10 million units worldwide.
