Ubisoft has announced their 3DS launch window line-up. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot took to the stage at Nintendo’s European event to confirm the eight titles that Ubisoft will be releasing between March and the end of June: Rayman, Splinter Cell, Combat of Giants: Dionsaurs 3D, Asphalt 3D, Rabbids 3D, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars, James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes and Driver Renegade.
Ubisoft has announced IL-2 STURMOVIK: Cliffs of Dover. It will be released on March 25th in the UK on the PC. Maddox Games will once again be developing the sequel. Ubisoft has finally confirmed the highly-rumoured Splinter Cell Trilogy for the PS3. It includes HD versions of the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. It will be released sometime next year. The news follows the release of Ubisoft’s recent PS3-exclusive Prince of Persia Trilogy, which was released on Blu-ray and on the PSN in Europe with a £29.99 price point. It also included stereoscopic 3D support.
Jade Raymond has confirmed that she is working on Splinter Cell 6, alongside the Ubisoft Toronto team that handled Conviction. 83 people have been hired to help work on the game alongside the pre-existing staff.

The Assassin’s Creed series is one that we’ve always enjoyed. While the original was a bit repetitive, II was absolutely lovely. It managed to hone in the story elements whilst simultaneously offering a diverse range of things to do. Disappointingly, the PS3 version was a bit everywhere but it didn’t detract from one of this generations best games. We’re pleased to report that Brotherhood continues on from II’s good work. Ubisoft has confirmed that they have delayed Driver San Francisco and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future. Both were supposed to be released in the first quarter of 2011. Now, they’re in the 2011-12 line-up which means they can be released any time between April 2011 to the end of March 2012. No explanation was given, but Ubisoft did say that HAWX 2 and RUSE “performed below expectations”.

Ubisoft has unveiled that PlayStation 3 owners of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will be getting free downloadable content. There will be one free add-on, and it’s called the “Copernicus Conspiracy”. Apparently, it’s exclusive to the PS3 and will be available to download on 18th November from the PlayStation Network. That date coincides with the game’s release date. Ubisoft has pushed back Michael Jackson: The Experience on the Kinect and PlayStation Move to Q1 2011. Both of these were supposed to be released this autumn. The DS, PSP and Wii versions are still coming out on 26th November.
