THQ has shown off a new drawing tablet for the Wii. It’s called the “uDraw GameTablet” and it should be released sometime this Christmas. The tablet measures 9×6 inches, with a 4×6 drawing area. It’s about an inch-and-a-half thick. The device has a small housing for a Wiimote, with power coming from the controller. THQ Digital has announced a downloadable Red Faction game for the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. The title officially goes by the moniker of “Red Faction: Battlegrounds”, and it’s an isometric arena combat game apparently. It will feature four-player co-op and will allow players to unlock items for Red Faction: Armageddon. A release date and price have yet to be confirmed.

THQ has announced that they will be publishing Costume Quest, the next title from Tim Schafer and his development studio Double Fine. The game is a third-person adventure RPG, set during a Halloween night. You play as a trick-or-treater and have to collect sweets, points, cards, battle stamps and mission assignments as you potter about the neighbourhood. THQ has announced Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet for the PS3, 360, Wii and DS. Apparently it’s a game of the Cartoon Network show, but we’ll have to take their word for it as we can’t afford Sky. THQ has confirmed that Saints Row 3D started as an Xbox Live Arcade title before Nintendo waltzed in and requested a 3DS version. Now, both versions will be released, with the 3DS version using the pre-existing code-base. Both games have been designed to sell Saints Row 3, and that they will unlock content for each other. THQ has announced Metro 2034, a sequel to Metro 2033. It will be available in 3D thanks to the publisher saving money by developing the game in Kiev, Ukraine. Metro 2033 was released on the PC and 360, but platforms for the sequel haven’t been announced yet. THQ has confirmed that they’re working on a new UFC fitness game for the Xbox 360 Kinect, PlayStation Move and Nintendo Wii. UFC Trainer will be released in Q1 2011. The company is aiming to push the technology by trying to eliminate lag, which was evidently a disappointing part of Move and Kinect at E3 unfortunately.

Nintendo has released a long list detailing nearly every single 3DS game in development. Nintendo first party titles announced here include Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Paper Mario, PilotWings Resort, Star Fox 64 3D and Steel Driver. Third party titles include Capcom’s Resident Evil Revelations and Super Street Fighter IV, SEGA’s Sonic and Super Monkey Ball, and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Lost Legacy. THQ has announced that de Blob 2: The Underground will be released in spring 2011 on the DS, Wii, PS3 and 360. The 360 and PS3 versions will support 3D. de Blob 2 doesn’t seem to do much different than the original but that’s not a bad thing. Tomonobu Itagaki (creator of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive) has announced his new title; Devil’s Third. It’s in development over at his new team, Valhalla Studios and is coming to the PS3 and 360. The game is essentially a post-apocalyptic, fast-paced action shooter. THQ has lifted the lid on Red Faction Armageddon with an official E3 debut trailer. It looks a lot darker than its predecessor; Guerilla and it seems the majority (if not all) the game takes place underground. Whether or not the free-roaming world from Guerilla makes an appearance remains to be seen, but it looks like the destructive gameplay is back. Here’s the video:

THQ has confirmed that UFC Undisputed 2010 will force gamers to enter a redeemable code given with the game to use its online functions on both the PS3 and 360. People that purchase the game second hand will have to pay $5 to access the online features of UFC 2010. Publishers are starting to play around with keeping online features away from pre-owned folks with redeemable codes for new copies.   Read More ...

Sony has officially confirmed that they will be adding 10 games to the American and Canadian PS3 ‘Greatest Hits’ collection. THQ has confirmed that Darksiders will be released on the PC this June. The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions were released in the first week of January, and original developer Vigil Games are back on the helm for the PC port. Apart from the obvious (changeable resolutions, keyboard and controller support), nothing much is known about the PC version.
