For Kinect and Playstation Move, at a press conference tonight THQ has revealed miCoach. The title is a new interactive training program developed for sports like football, basketball, soccer, tennis and running including sports stars for each sport. THQ and CEO Brian Farrell, held its annual financial conference call and revealed some interesting details regarding its recently released, Homefront title. It appears that shipments have surpassed 2.6 million units worldwide since launch in March. It’s looking like the publisher will be looking towards developing a sequel. THQ has announced that Homefront has been pushed back a week. The game will be released in the US on 15th March. It was previously down to be released on 8th, on the same day as Dragon Age 2. THQ has confirmed that Saints Row 3 will be released this Autumn. Microsoft’s Larry Hyrb (Major Nelson), has today announced that all Homefront downloadable content will appear first on the Xbox 360. Moreover, the 360 version of the game will include an exclusive map called Suburbs. He was speaking at THQ’s Gamers’ Day event in New York, where the publisher is giving folk some hands-on time with their upcoming titles.

THQ has snapped up the He-Man IP as part of a new deal with toy-maker Mattel. They also got a load of rubbish IPs in the deal too, including Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, Monster High and Polly Pocket. In typical THQ fashion, they are only committing to Barbie, Hot Wheels and Fisher-Price games.

Guillermo del Toro and Volition’s 2013 horror title inSane will be the first game in a planned trilogy. THQ has signed del Toro in a multi-year agreement to create the trilogy. His official position on the game is to serve as an external creative director, and will work closely with THQ core games head Danny Bilson and Saints Row developer Volition. THQ joint project with Guillermo Del Toro was officially unveiled at the Spike VGAs last night. The game is called inSane and it’s being developed by Volition. It won’t’ be released until sometime in 2013 and looks to us like a horror title.

THQ has announced Homefront will be released on 8th March 2011 in the US, 10th March in Australia and 11th March in Europe. The game is in development over at Kaos Studios and THQ are billing it as their big shooter series. It’s set in America with North Korea invading and trying to spread their evil regime. THQ has already announced a sequel and book for the series.

THQ will be trying a new way of paying for DLC with WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2011. Their system is called “Fan Axxess” and it allows users to download some selected future DLC add-ons for free. THQ has lifted the lid on an upcoming patch for UFC Undisputed 2010. It is scheduled to arrive towards the end of October. Apparently, the update will improve the career, camps and online modes.
