Nostalgia seems to be the key point in Telltale Games’ formula; their portfolio being like a modern love story to 1990’s Lucas Arts. Yet never has the term been as appropriate as with their latest title, which picks up a 25 year-old franchise for a videogame revival. Marty McFly and Doc Brown are back for another time-hopping adventure in Back to the Future: The Game.
Telltale Games has confirmed that Back to the Future will be released on the PC and Mac on Wednesday 22nd December. There will five episodes in the series, with all of them focusing on the famous exploits of Marty and Doc. The remaining episodes will be released in February, March and April. Also expect to see the game hit the PlayStation Network and the iPad.
Telltale has confirmed that Poker Night at the Inventory will allow players to unlock items in their Team Fortress 2 inventory. If you pre-order the game from the Telltale Store, you will unlock the Heavy’s poker visor. More are available in-game when you take part in special “Item Rounds”. Telltale Games has confirmed that those who sign up for a special offer on their website will be able to download Back to the Future episode one for free. The episode won’t be available until this winter, but you can still sign up for it now and get everything ready. Telltale will email you when the game’s available to download and you can get on your way. Through time.
Telltale Games has announced Poker Night at the Inventory. It’s essentially a regular poker game but it features Penny Arcade’s Tycho, Team Fortress 2’s Heavy, Homestar Runner’s Strong Bad and Sam & Max’s rabbit thingy Max. It’s looking pretty entertaining, and apparently has a lot of dialogue that you’ll hear throughout the game. Poker Night at the Inventory is currently down for a “fall 2010” release.

Telltale has confirmed that they are making an episodic Jurassic Park game across multiple platforms in this month’s Game Informer. The company is classing the title as a “cinematic adventure”. The first episode is set to hit at the end of the year. Apart from that, no more information has been announced but keep your eyes open for it during E3.
The new series of Sam & Max begins today, entitled the Devil’s Playhouse. The first episode has been released on the PSN, PC and Mac; called “The Penal Zone”. The dog and rabbit detective duo have to fight villains out for Max’s new-found psychic powers.
