Team Meat has finally rolled out a patch for Super Meat Boy on the Xbox Live Arcade. It’s a paltry 1MB update that fixes a few faults and the auto-save glitch. With the patch out, Team Meat will carry on pushing new content to the in-game level download hub that has free downloadable levels.
Team Meat has confirmed that they will be releasing a patch for Super Meat Boy in January. The update will be free on the PC, but we don’t know if it will hit the 360 or not. Regardless, it has a level editor, an online level portal, something called Super Meat World and Enter the Unknown.

Team Meat has confirmed that the 360 version of Super Meat Boy will have an exclusive chapter called “Teh Internets”. That chapter adds the ability for Team Meat to push brand new and free levels out to 360 owners whenever they want. The content here will be made with a standardised level creation tool, so there’s no need for Microsoft’s lengthy certification process that’s normally required for DLC. Team Meat has confirmed that Super Meat Boy will be debuting on the Xbox Live Arcade on October 20th. The game will be part of a new Microsoft Game Studios promotion called “Game Feast”. Apparently, Super Meat Boy will be the main course in the Game Feast.
