Take-Two CEO Ben Feder has quit the company so he can go travelling around Asia with his family. Strauss Zelnick will temporarily take over as CEO while Karl Slatoff, an existing Take-Two executive will be trained for the role. Take-Two has confirmed that they made a profit in the third fiscal quarter that ended on July 31st, 2010. The company managed $354.1 million in sales, which is up from $94.9 million for the same quarter last year. Net income clocked in at $6 million, which is up from a loss of $56 million last year. Take-Two has delayed LA Noire from late 2010 to “the first half of calendar 2011”. The Team Bondi title has been pushed back a fair bit, but it looks like development is picking up steam. At a recent GameStop manager’s convention, it received a good response. The game will be coming out on the PS3 and the 360.

Take-Two has confirmed that they will be releasing a demo for Mafia 2 on the 360, PS3 and PC in August. There was no other information given apart from that the demo will hit the internet before the game’s released on August 24th.
Take-Two has announced that GTA IV has sold over 17 million units worldwide. The information came out during a Q2 earnings release from Take-Two today. GTA IV was released back in April 2008 on the PS3 and 360, and the DLC and PC releases have seen the title get long legs at retail.
Take-Two have confirmed that more than 5 million copies of Red Dead Redemption have been shipped to retailers over North America and Europe since the game was released on May 18th. The game has been top of the UK charts since its release and seems to be doing well for itself.
