SEGA has announced that Shogun 2: Total War will be released worldwide on 15th March 2011. The game will improve 3D battles and the tactical campaign map. There’s a new AI system to play around with too.

SI Games has announced that they will be releasing two demos for Football Manager 2011 this week. The first will be released on Steam on Thursday, with the second touching down for everyone on Friday. The Steam demo is the “strawberry” release, which has all languages and 12 leagues (England, Scotland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina and Chile). SEGA has removed OutRun Online Arcade from the PlayStation Store because their contract with Ferrari has run out. The 360 version is still available for download on the Xbox Live Arcade until December 2011. The game was released in April last year. SEGA has today announced Captain America: Super Solider. The game is set during WWII and will be released in summer 2011. It’ll be coming to the 360, PS3, Wii and DS. Apparently, Super Soldier is a third person action adventure with “dynamic acrobatic platforming with a fast and fluid melee combat system”. SEGA has today sent word that the Super Monkey Ball series will be returning exclusively to the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. The game is currently in development over at SEGA Studio Japan. SEGA has slapped some dates and prices on Sonic 4: Episode 1. The game will be released on the iPhone on 7th October; PSN and XBLA on 13th October; and the Wii on 15th October. It will cost £10 on the PSN, 1200 Allards on Xbox Live and 1500 Wii Points on the Wii.

SI Games has announced that Football Manager 2011 will allow players to publish achievements and goals to social networking like Twitter. You will be able to set manual or automatic updates to your Twitter account. Steam users will be able to publish their updated to a personal virtual manager’s office on the Football Manager website. Microsoft has lifted the lid on a raft of new Japanese XBLA titles. There was five announced, to be exact. Here they are: Haunt – A spooky adventure game from Parappa the Rappa’s Masaya Matsuura. Conduit 2 has been delayed until the first quarter of 2011. The game was originally supposed to be released on 2nd November. The sequel includes new control methods, enabling players to use both the Classic Controller and Wii MotionPlus alongside the regular remote and nunchuck. High Voltage, the team behind the game, laid off 25 members of staff a few weeks ago.

A Japanese-language Yakuza: Black Panther PSP demo has been released, and the folks over at 4Gamer have put up the 192MB file for everyone to have a mess around with. Sony has announced Virtua Tennis 4 at their gamescom press conference, seemingly saving SEGA from doing it. The game made a brief appearance in a PlayStation Move/3D showreel, with SEGA confirming that the game could support both of those new bits of tech. No other formats were mentioned, given that it was a Sony press conference and SEGA has only confirmed the game for the PS3 so far.

SEGA and SI Games have finally announced Football Manager 2011 for the PC and Mac. It will be released sometime before Christmas, alongside a PSP version entitled “Football Manager Handheld 2011”. Real-time contract negations, a revamped training system and an improved match engine have been added to the game. SEGA has announced that Sonic Colours will be released on the Wii and DS on 12th November in Europe. Apparently, Sonic Team is focused on the positive feedback they received with the daylight stages in Sonic Unleashed. The night-time levels left a lot to be desired.
