PopCap has announced that Bejeweled 3 will be released on 7th December. It will be available for download on PopCap.com, and will add four new modes on the gem-swapping puzzler. PR exec Laurie Thornton has confirmed that Plants vs. Zombies will be coming to the Nintendo DS. The game will be released sometime in January 2011, according to her tweet earlier. Valve and PopCap Games have today announced a Game of the Year Edition of Plants vs. Zombies is now available to download on Steam. The GOTY Edition adds support for Steam Cloud, which allows players to save and access saved games from any computer. PopCap has unveiled a few new details for the Plants vs. Zombies XBLA release. Most importantly, they have let slip that the game will be released early September and will set you back 1200 Allards. It will have co-op and versus multiplayer as well as 12 achievements and 21 minigames. The XBLA version is the only one to be available in 1080p, too.

PopCap Games have released Plants vs. Zombies HD for the iPad on the App Store. The iPhone and iPod Touch version of the app was released in February, and went on to sell more than 650k units. The new HD version adds new features specifically for the iPad, and retails for $9.99.
