Sony has announced that European PlayStation Plus subscribers will get exclusive access to the DC Universe Online beta. All Plus members are included and the download is being chucked up on the Plus section of the EU PlayStation Store right now. The beta needs 15GB of space on your PS3 hard disk. That’s a pretty massive download, more than most HD movie downloads but we wouldn’t know about that.

Sony has announced a PlayStation Rewards programme. Regular users will receive “exclusive status, recognition and rewards”. There are apparently three reward tiers: Select, Pro and Legendary. You can move up them by playing new games, buying PSN content, downloading movies and filling in surveys.
