Sony has announced a new PlayStation Move bundled centered around Little Big Planet 2. It appears that Little Big Planet 2 will see a re-release next month in a new Special Edition.

The Little Big Planet 2 Special Edition will contain all the previously released downloadable content, about $35.00 USD worth of content. The bundle also includes a PlayStation Eye camera, Navigation Controller and PlayStation Move Motion Controller.

The bundle will be available at select retailers on November 15th. No price point was listed though we reckon to think it would be available for around $149.99, in our estimation.

For Kinect and Playstation Move, at a press conference tonight THQ has revealed miCoach. The title is a new interactive training program developed for sports like football, basketball, soccer, tennis and running including sports stars for each sport. The list includes; Dwight Howard, Kaka, Tyson Gay, Jessica Ennis, Ana Ivanovic and Eric Berry. Dwight Howard was apparently present at the event tonight to promote the game and introduce the press to what the game is all about.

Players look to have a choice as to which training program you’d like to pick and are then moved on to be coached step by step. Your sports celebrity will join you every step of the way and the Kinect or Camera sensor will keep track of progress, rep count and more. Looks like the game will see release in early 2012.

Sony has announced that they will be releasing a single-player demo of Killzone 3 on 16th February. The demo includes the Icy Incursion level that takes place roughly halfway through the game’s campaign. PlayStation Plus members can download the demo a week early on 9th February.

There will be two versions of the demo up for download, one in 2D and the other in 3D. The 2D demo has splitscreen co-op, which is not available in the 3D version. Both demos support the PlayStation Move. This is not to be confused with the upcoming multiplayer open beta, which will be released on 3rd February and end on the 15th.

Sony has announced that the PS3 Sly Trilogy Collection will be released in the UK on 3rd December. Australia and New Zealand will get the game on the 2nd December, with the rest of PAL on the 1st. We’re guessing the US release will be around that time too. The Sly Trilogy includes all three of the PS2 games on one Blu-ray. They’ve been given the HD treatment and are playable in stereoscopic 3D if you’re one of those fancy types. There are also some PlayStation Move mini-games on offer too.

Joystiq found a nice little ad for the rumor mill for the US’s upcoming Black Friday madness sale. You’ll see everything from a Playstation 3 holiday bundle for $299.99 to a Nintendo Wii bundle for $189.99. There will be tons of discounts on games as well from titles like Medal of Honor, Fable 3 and Halo Reach, which will be available for 40 bucks! Imagine the possibilities!

Ubisoft revealed a Special Edition Glove for it’s upcoming title; Michael Jackson The Experience for the initial release of the Wii version.

“One of the most iconic symbols of Michael Jackson’s music and performance legacy is his signature glove,” shared Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “Consumers are encouraged to either pre-order Michael Jackson The Experience early or make sure to purchase the title on day one in order to get this special edition glove as we’re sure it will sell out quickly.”

The special edition glove is available for pre-order and the entire title will cost you the regular retail value of $49.99 for the Wii version.  The game will also be hitting platforms for Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable as well and will hit November 23rd, 2010. You’ll also find the game will be available for Kinect on Xbox 360 and Playstation Move sometime in early 2011. Check out an image of the glove after the break.

Ubisoft has pushed back Michael Jackson: The Experience on the Kinect and PlayStation Move to Q1 2011. Both of these were supposed to be released this autumn. The DS, PSP and Wii versions are still coming out on 26th November.

Sony has confirmed that the SingStar Dance Party Pack will be exclusive to the US. The Party Pack includes two SingStar microphones, a USB SingStar converter and a copy of SingStar Dance. All that costs $39.99, which is the same price you pay for the standalone version of the game. The game includes new songs, PlayStation Move support and some dancing. It’ll be released in Europe in 5th November.

Sony has confirmed that the PlayStation Move-enabled version of Heavy Rain will be released in the UK and Ireland on 8th October for £29.99. The game will be released in Australia and New Zealand on 7th October and the rest of the PAL territories on 6th October. The Move Edition also includes bonus content, including the Taxidermist playable scene, three dynamic PS3 themes, a full game soundtrack and nine “Making Of” videos.

A demo for the Move Edition will be released on the PlayStation Store on 15th September. The demo is fully compatible with Move, and includes two of the early levels from the game: Sleazy Place and Crime Scene. The Move patch for existing copies of Heavy Rain will be released on 22nd September.

Sony has confirmed that they will be releasing two new PS3 models with bigger hard disks on 15th September. The company announced the new models at their press conference in gamescom, Germany. The new models are: a 320GB machine with a PlayStation Move motion controller kit, costing £284.99; and a 160GB machine for £249.99. The 160GB model will replace the 120GB version that’s currently selling in stores right now. The PS3 has sold 38 million units so far, with 16 million of those in Europe.

Sony has announced Virtua Tennis 4 at their gamescom press conference, seemingly saving SEGA from doing it. The game made a brief appearance in a PlayStation Move/3D showreel, with SEGA confirming that the game could support both of those new bits of tech. No other formats were mentioned, given that it was a Sony press conference and SEGA has only confirmed the game for the PS3 so far.

Konami has announced that DanceDanceRevolution will support the PlayStation Move on the PS3. The game will have 25 new songs by Konami’s in-house artists and 25 licensed tracks.

“For the first time in the history of the franchise, DanceDanceRevolution PS3 will feature a truly interactive dance experience via PlayStation Move as it challenges players to use both their hands and feet simultaneously – providing the most rhythmic and realistic dancing experience yet on PlayStation 3!” Konami said in a press release.

“Additionally, compatibility with the PlayStation EYE allows players to take pictures of their room and add dance club components to transport their home into a virtual club.”

Sony has come out to clarify the prices for the PlayStation Move in the UK. One normal Move controller will cost £34.99, one PlayStation Eye camera costs £24.99 and one navigation controller costs £24.99. You can use the DualShock 3 instead of the navigation controller for most games apparently, but we don’t know how you’re supposed to hold it whilst still clinging on to the cumbersome Move controller.

Regardless, there will be a PlayStation Move Pack for £49.99, which contains a Move controller and the Eye, as well as a starter disc with some videos and playable demos. The demos are: Sports Champions, Start the Party!, The Shoot, EyePet: Move Edition, TV Superstars, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, echochrome II, Tumble and Beat Sketchers.

Capcom has dashed any hopes original Resident Evil 5 owners had of playing the game with the PlayStation Move. The newer Gold Edition will be the only version to support the new peripheral, thanks to a free patch (releasing 19th September in North America). The patch will also already be a part of Gold Edition game discs after the PlayStation Move’s release. Here’s Capcom’s explanation:

“The original Resident Evil 5 was in development for several years before PlayStation Move even existed as a concept for Sony. RE5 was released in March 2009 without the code to allow for future changes to control schemes through DLC or patching.

“Therefore the original Resident Evil 5 will not work with PlayStation Move. Short of building a time machine, going back in time and recoding the game so we can patch control schemes on it in the future there is nothing we can do. Sorry.

“Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition was released in 2010. At this time Capcom was aware PlayStation Move had gone from an early concept to an actual product. Tweaks to the code were made to allow prototype Move to work, which was then shown off at TGS 2009.

“Aware that Move was coming but still unaware of it’s final specs, the release of Gold Edition in 2010 featured the same bit of code that allows new control schemes to be added and while Move will ‘not work out of the box’ with existing RE5GE the ability to download a patch will see current owners of RE5GE be able to use PlayStation Move providing they have an internet connection to download a patch that will be available from 14th September.

“RE5GE was originally an exclusive to a high street retailer, and I believe has now sold out, but this ‘new’ version of RE5GE will be available across all retailers and will be launched on 15th September with PlayStation Move.

“In summary. RE5 Gold Edition works with Move with the caveat that you need to download a patch if you already have a RE5 Gold Edition in your possession. Any new purchase of RE5 Gold Edition from 15th September, look out for the updated ‘Move’ packaging if you want the game without the need to download a patch. The ‘Original’ RE5 doesn’t work with Move…as we don’t have a time machine.”

EA has announced EA Sports Active NFL Training Camp. The game is coming out for the Wii on 16th November, but there are Kinect, Move and iPhone versions in development. Apparently Training Camp was made with the help of real-life NFL coaches. It has 70 drills and challenges to improve strength, power and conditioning, according to EA.

Ubisoft has announced that the PS3 version of R.U.S.E. will support the PlayStation Move. The game is a WWII RTS. PS3 gamers will be able to use the Move as a pointer to select units, build structures and move the camera about a bit. There’s also a few gesture based controls to bring up and get rid of menus. Move support has only been a part of the game for about four or five weeks, but looks fairly waggly. The PC version will probably be superior, according to PC RTS geeks. There are no plans for the game to support Kinect on the 360, as you have to stand up to use it (at least at moment). R.U.S.E. will be released in the UK on 17th September for PC, PS3 and 360.

Sony has confirmed the Japanese PlayStation Move launch titles when the system goes on sale in the land of the rising sun on 21st October. They get it after Europe, whom will be able to pick up the controllers on 15th September. Not much else is known about the European release yet, but the Japanese one will be released with six games and a patch for Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition.

The Japanese launch titles are EyePet, Beat Sketch, Sports Champions, High Velocity Bowling, Kung Fu Rider and Big 3 Gun Shooting (a compilation pack consisting of Time Crisis: Razing Storm, Time Crisis 4 and Dead Storm Pirates). There will also be a free patch for Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition in mid-September for everyone to get in on the waggle bandwagon.

Sony Japan will release a Move version of echochrome in November, as well as The Fight and Move Party. TV Super Star has been pencilled in for December and Ape Escape will apparently be hitting sometime by the end of the year. Sorcery, Tower, The Shoot and Heroes on the Move will be hitting sometime in 2011.

Killzone 3 will be launching with Move support when it’s released next year, with Hustle Kings and Heavy Rain getting Move patches relatively soon. The Heavy Rain Move patch has put the kibosh on plans for new DLC for the game.

Those sneaky folks at Sony are always keen to chuck in some small extra features into new firmware, and the latest release (3.40) is no exception. They have added in a new option in the settings part of the XMB. It will allow you to calibrate the PlayStation Move, if it doesn’t work properly. Seeing as the new controller isn’t releasing for a while, we can’t exactly try it out.

Sony has confirmed that the Sly Cooper Collection will feature three platinum trophies, just like the God of War Collection. Each game in the collection will have its own platinum trophy and a few PlayStation Move mini-games. It’s not currently known if you need the Move to unlock all the trophies in the collection, but it’s looking likely.
