343 Industries is looking for recruits for its first title on their website. It’s been highly rumoured that it will be the next Halo game (as that is what the studio was set up for), but nothing has been confirmed at this point. The big jobs seem to be a mission designer, a senior 3D artist and a senior character artist, but there are a few more going. Halo: Reach will be Bungie’s last Halo game, and will be released on 14th September.

Midway has announced that Hydro Thunder Hurricane is coming to the Xbox Live Arcade. It is playable at PAX East this weekend, and is apparently a XBLA port of the 1999 arcade original. Versions of the game have cropped up on the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast and PC before, but nothing has happened for at least a console generation or two.
