Maxis have slapped a date on PC title Darkspore. It will be released on 29th March. The game is an action RPG that melds together Spore and the action/grinding elements of Diablo. It has Spore’s customisation engine, as well as four player co-op and competitive multiplayer too.

EA has announced the next game from Maxis. Unsurprisingly, it will be released for the PC. It’s called Darkspore and they class it is as an online action RPG, releasing in February 2011.
