Valve has today released a Steam Client update that introduces the SILK voice codec. That’s the same codec developed and used by Skype. Blizzard’s internal numbers have confirmed that they have sold 4.7 million copies of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm in one month. That’s more copies in one month than any other PC game. Apple has finally slapped a date on their Mac App Store. It will be released on January 6th and will be available to OSX Snow Leopard users in 90 countries at launch. The app itself will be free. Telltale Games has confirmed that Back to the Future will be released on the PC and Mac on Wednesday 22nd December.
