Activision and LucasArts have announced that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II will be released on 29th October in the UK. A demo for the game will be released on 12th October on the Xbox Live Marketplace and 13th October on the PlayStation Store. The demo follows Starkiller as he attempts to escape a facility on the planet Kamino. Lightsabers, force powers and countless robots to destroy have been confirmed.

LucasArts has canned the PSP version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. They haven’t said why yet. It was due to be released on 26th October at the same time as the PC, PS3, 360, DS and iPhone versions of the game.
