Since Borderlands 2 was announced by Gearbox Software not too long ago, we finally have a sneak peak into the teaser trailer itself. If you like dual-wielding guns and mechs, then you’ve come to the right place. Borderlands 2 will release in 2012.

2K Games has confirmed that those who buy or have brought Borderlands through Steam will get a demo key for Duke Nukem Forever. Steam Borderlands owners will get access to the DNF demo at the same time as Borderlands GOTY owners. Gearbox still hasn’t slapped a specific date on the demo, but expect it in 2011 before the full game’s release.

A fan-made remake of 1996 PC FPS Duke Nukem 3D will be officially released after Duke Nukem license holder Gearbox gave the title their approval. It’s called “Duke Nukem: Next-Gen” and runs on Unreal Engine 3. The game will have a three episode single-player campaign mode and a multiplayer component. Gearbox Software has confirmed that they have purchased the Duke Nukem brand at their conference in PAX. Gearbox president Randy Pitchford dramatically told fans that “we brought Duke Nukem”. Gearbox Software has announced a “Game of the Year Edition” of Borderlands. The re-release is coming to the 360, PS3 and PC on October 12th.
