EA has announced Battlefield: Play4Free. It’s a realistic-style free to play PC FPS set in the modern day world of war and guns. Apparently it’s designed to appeal to the hardcore market, unlike Battlefield Heroes. Currently, Play4Free is in development over at Easy Studios at DICE, the team behind Heroes.
A fan-made remake of 1996 PC FPS Duke Nukem 3D will be officially released after Duke Nukem license holder Gearbox gave the title their approval.
