With the Collective Bargaining Agreement still looking no closer to being resolved and the possibility of a there being no season come August 2011 NFL fans are dealt yet another blow as EA have today announced that their latest installment of Madden, 2012, will be pushed back by three weeks.
Dragon Age: Origins was a game a long time in the making, with five years between its initial announcement in 2004 and eventual release in 2009. Billed as a spiritual successor to the seminal RPG series Baldur’s Gate, it was a big hit for Bioware and EA, successfully marrying old school fantasy adventuring with the blood, sex and brutal combat expected of a modern day release. Dragon Age II, on Read More ...

EA and Dice have released this little snippet of gameplay footage from Battlefield 3 to wet your whistles. I think you can join us in thinking this game looks like it’s shaping up well and we can’t wait to see more of it in the weeks/months to come.
EA has announced that a PC version of the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo will be released on 1st March. The demo will be available from the Crysis 2 website and includes two maps and two modes. DICE has come out and confirmed some lovely details for Battlefield 3. The PC, PS3 and 360 FPS will have improved visuals and apparently an “exponential leap” in destructibility. It uses the Frostbite 2 engine to create all the new destructible effects apparently. The more important news is that jets have returned and you will be able to go prone. PC players will be even more excited, as their version Read More ...
DICE has finally decided to put a line under the Battlefield 1943 PC saga by officially canning the game. The title was released to favourable reception on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network back in 2009. We really enjoyed it, and believe it holds up well to a bit of light play now and then. PC owners were initially told they would be getting the game, and it was Read More ...

Crytek has confirmed that the secret level currently appearing for gamers in the (currently) Xbox 360 exclusive Crysis 2 multiplayer demo is there by design. The new map is called Pier 17, and it was hiding inside the 1.8GB demo all this time. Crytek have been letting selected players test it out in order to try different playlists and backup systems. However, it is very rare to get into a Read More ...
BioWare has confirmed that all non-Steam versions of Dragon Age II on the PC will require an online check after a select period of days. BioWare hasn’t decided how many days you will be allowed to play offline before the game locks you out yet though. This is not good for folks with flaky internet connections or those moving to a new house which may not have internet for a Read More ...
EA has announced that they will be releasing a PC demo of Crysis 2. The announcement follows PC gamers moaning that the demo was previously exclusive to the Xbox 360. Crysis was previously a PC exclusive series and we guess PC gamers wanted their loyalty repaid. We enjoyed the 360 demo, even though having just one map does get a bit stale. The game sort of feels like a more Read More ...
EA has announced Dead Space 2: Severed. It’s the first DLC pack for Dead Space 2, and adds two standalone chapters to the single-player game. The protagonists for Severed are Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock, the two main characters from Dead Space: Extraction. Characters control Weller, a Sprawl Security Guard. His and Lexine’s story takes place at the same time as Isaac’s adventures in Dead Space 2. EA hasn’t put Read More ...
Mass Effect 2 has landed on the European PlayStation Store for an insane £48. We’re not quite sure why it costs so much, but the game’s RRP is supposed to be £49.99 so that must obviously have something to do with it. Most shops are selling the physical PS3 version for £39.99, with Argos selling the 360 version for £7.99. It also doesn’t help that the 360 version is superior Read More ...
Crytek have announced that a multiplayer demo for Crysis 2 will be released exclusively on the Xbox Live Marketplace on Tuesday 25th January. Quite why a previously PC-exclusive franchise is getting a 360 exclusive demo is beyond us, but there we go. The content of the demo hasn’t been confirmed yet, but that trailer up there might be some indication. Crysis 2 will be released on the 360, PS3 and Read More ...

The set includes his boots, armour, gauntlets and helm. The boots and gloves grant a bonus to overall armour with the chest-piece and helmet having an empty rune slot. The helmet also boosts your critical damage. Read More ...
