EA has announced that a PC version of the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo will be released on 1st March. The demo will be available from the Crysis 2 website and includes two maps and two modes. Both modes offer six versus six matches. The two maps are Skyline and Pier 17, which were in the 360 demo. The two modes are Team Instant Action and Crash Site.
SEGA has announced that PC strategy title Total War: Shogun 2 will get a demo next week. The demo has one campaign map when it hits on 22nd February. The full game will be released on 15th March, if you’re in to that type of thing.
Demos for Bulletstorm and Crysis 2 have now been released on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The Bulletstorm demo clocks in at 1.08GB, and is due to be released on the PlayStation Network tomorrow. EA has announced that they will be releasing a demo of Bulletstorm on the Xbox Live Marketplace on 25th January and the PlayStation Network on 26th January. The demo includes Echo mode, which is a co-operative mode that tracks and compares player scores whilst they shoot about some campaign locations. Nintendo just revealed today they will be offering up demos of select Wii Ware games for a limited time. Starting on November 22nd, you’ll be able to see Wii Ware demos for titles; BIT.TRIP FATE, And Yet It Moves, ThruSpace™ and Jett Rocket. And continuing every Monday, Nintendo will add more demos to the Wii Shop Channel which will remain for a limited time.
JoWooD has released a PC demo for Arcania: Gothic 4. You can download it here or here. We’re not entirely sure what’s in the demo, but the action RPG is shaping up rather nicely. Some folks over at NeoGAF have posted some screenshots of the demo in action and it looks pretty swish.
