Apple has officially confirmed that they will be having an iPad 2 event next week on Wednesday March 2nd. It will all be going down at 6pm GMT (10am PST). The event takes place in San Francisco at the Yuerba Buena Center for the Arts, which is relatively close to where the Game Developers Conference will take place next week.

Apple has announced that they have sold more than 1.7 million iPhone 4s between the 24th and 26th of June. However, the devices are marred by a signal problem.
