Ubisoft announced today that a new Tom Clancy title is in development and it is none other then a Rainbow Six title. The new title is called Rainbow Six: Patriots.

“Terrorism has evolved, and so has Rainbow 6. In Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots, all the team play, tactics, and realism that fans of the series love have been coupled with an exciting new narrative direction,” said David Sears, creative director at Ubisoft. “This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience.”

In Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots, Team Rainbow faces a new and very real threat called the “True Patriots,” a highly-trained, well-organized revolutionary group that claim the American government is irrevocably corrupted by greedy politicians and corporate special interests.  The True Patriots will do whatever it takes to reclaim their country.  Playing as Team Rainbow, players will face critical scenarios that will require them to make tough ethical decisions in order to stop this new breed of terrorists.

In addition to the immersive single-player storyline, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots will introduce a huge variety of new innovative co-op and multi-player experiences. Players will be rewarded for working as a team and mastering the game’s new features that enhance communication and tactical execution between teammates. Success will come from a mix of split-second decision making and working to coordinate attacks against the enemy.

As we learned previously, Sony Online Entertainment is adopting the new free-to-play motive most MMOs are taking these days. A live developer webcast took place today and it was revealed the official date that you may start using the game in free-to-play model.

There will be three different levels of subscription including the free-to-play giving you access to various items of the games content. The Legendary is still for those who pay 15 dollars a month for access and gets you all of the DLC at no extra cost. Stepping down from that is the Premium membership which is granted when you spend five dollars in the in-game store. Then finally is the free-to-play status which has the most restrictions on the games content including DLC and chat functions.

That V is just a fancy way to say that Rockstar has officially announced Grand Theft Auto 5. All we currently have to go on the game is the new logo which we have above.

Digital Reality announced today that the new Gladiator multiplayer pack is now available for download.

Rockstar Games has announced today the official release date for the upcoming sequel, Max Payne 3 set for release in March 2012.

The game is expected to launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms in North America and Europe. The game picks up where Max Payne 2 left off, Max has moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil working private security for a wealthy  industrialist until something unorthodox happens. Gangs target his family and he’s forced to save his clients to clear his name and end the torture he’s endured for so long.

The game will also be the first time the series will offer a full multiplayer mode. Rockstar promises the multiplayer aims to deliver a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match. Along with traditional multiplayer modes, Max Payne 3 will also include a deep reward and leveling system, persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options. also within this announcement Rockstar revealed they will be releasing an full HD treatment for the original Max Payne on mobile devices. Available for the first time on mobile, Max Payne will have connectivity to the Rockstar Games Social Club and boast the same features as its PC counterparts – including HD graphics and high-resolution textures that take advantage of the latest mobile technologies, including incredibly customizable controls and support for wired controllers.

Frustrated you weren’t able to play in the PlayStation Plus exclusive Assassins Creed Revelations beta? Don’t fret, Ubisoft revealed today that the beta will open to all PSN members, all you have to do is wait one more day.

Starting at 10:00 am Pacific tomorrow you’ll be able to take part in the beta from September 8-11. Assassins Creed Revelations will be released on November 15, 2011. For more information on the beta head to the official website.

What was once fiction is now fact, Sony has confirmed via the PlayStation blog that their upcoming 24″ 3D TV will include a copy of Motorstorm Apocalypse on Blu-ray as well as Resistance 3 on Blu-ray.

Sony is recommending you place your pre orders by September 30th as the TV will launch sometime in November. The 3D TV will also come with a pair of universal 3d glasses and an HDMI cable and all of this is for the MSRP of $499.99.

For those of you who may not know, Nolan North is the man behind the voice of the Uncharted series main character, Nathan Drake. We recently previewed Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and now we have a preview of the Collectors Edition, which is pretty hilarious I must say. Nolan North, you sir are a funny guy.

This morning, Nintendo revealed to the world that its latest Zelda adventure, The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword for Wii will land on North American shelves on November 20.

The date of course falls within the holiday time frame revealed by the company earlier in the year at E3. Upon looking over Nintendo’s announcement, it does not appear that they mention if the game will ship will the Motion-Plus accessory as all game have been since last November. Games have either launched with the Motion-Plus accessory attachment or the Wii Remote Plus with Motion Plus built into the remote.

If you like blowing shit up, you’ll be able to experience the carnage in the Bodycount demo. Codemasters has revealed this morning that their upcoming title from makers of Black, have released a single-player demo today on Xbox Live. The demo is set in the early stages of the games African missions and you’ll assume the role of a Network Operative.

You’ll be responsible for tracking down a warlord while equipped with an explosive arsenal such as the G36 SMG, Super 90 Shotgun, grenades and proximity mines. By completing skill kills like headshots or other types of kills you’ll earn more Intel for a higher score at the end of the mission. A demo for the PlayStation Store will be available shortly.

Bodycount releases on August 30 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

It was speculated for the last few days, and the NGP finally has a new name; Playstation Vita. On top of that, the new handheld  has a price range as well. The Wifi Only model will price at $249.99, and 249 Euro. The 3G Wifi Only model will retail for $299.99. As quoted: “Vita means life,” said Sony Computer Entertainment ‘s Kazuo Hirai. Halo fans rejoice! Microsoft will be releasing Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary in honor of the 10 years Halo has been in existence. The game will release on November 15th, 2011. The game clocks in at a MSRP of $39.99 and is being developed by 343 Industries in collaboration with Certain Affinity, the new developer at the helm since Bungie’s departure from the series.

Just towards the end of the demonstration of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Don Mattrick revealed that future downloadable content will be exclusive on Xbox 360. So, if you gamers out there not owning an Xbox will have to wait for the $15 map packs. This is an obvious move as this news continued when Black Ops was released and Xbox 360 was the first to receive its downloadable content only a few weeks ahead of Playstation 3 and PC owners.
