More exciting gameplay videos coming out of Gamescom today with multiplayer maps from the upcoming Halo remake, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary. The above video details two maps, Damnation and Beaver Creek both previously in the original Halo Combat Evolved release. Both maps have gotten an HD make over and you get to see them in action. Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary releases exclusively on Xbox 360 on November 15 worldwide.

Halo fans rejoice! Microsoft will be releasing Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary in honor of the 10 years Halo has been in existence. The game will release on November 15th, 2011. The Microsoft E3 Press keynote just ended moments ago and the last and indeed most surprising announcement was that of Halo 4. Master Chief and Cortana are back and look to kick off a new trilogy it appears as well. 343 Industries is at the helm and has a proposed release date of Fall 2012. 343 Industries has updated Halo Waypoint to coincide with the release of Halo: Reach. Waypoint is now easier to navigate and has new social features like being able to message friends, compare achievements and share news stories. Some exclusive Reach armour is available to be unlocked with Waypoint now too.

343 Industries is looking for recruits for its first title on their website. It’s been highly rumoured that it will be the next Halo game (as that is what the studio was set up for), but nothing has been confirmed at this point.
